Follow the steps given below:

1. Framework
• Use discarded wire to form a skeleton like structure.
• Make the head, torso and legs using old wire mesh or
straw.
• The skeleton can also be made by using cardboard boxes/
carton boxes.
• Tin can also be used for making the skeleton.
2. Body
• Use papier mache to make the body.
• Old newspaper can also be used.
• You can also use clay to make the outer body of the tiger.
3. Colours
• Use paint-black and yellow.
• You can also use natural dyes.
• Alternatively, use yellow paper and cut black stripes and

explore your creative side. Make two different tigers using cardboard
boxes and paper. Follow these simple steps:
• Take two shoe boxes or cornflakes boxes of different sizes. Cut away
the front shaded area of the smaller one and trim the back piece to
form ears.
• Overlap the two side flaps of the box and stick them with glue.
• Cut a separate piece of card with a heart-shaped
nose and stick this to the back piece leaving the
front flap free.
• Paint the entire body yellow and stick strips of
black paper. add the whiskers and eyes.
• Make four cylindrical legs, paint them yellow as
well and stick these to the larger box.
• Use paper to make the tail and stick it to the
body.
